TÜBA Member Prof. Erdoğan Elected to ISC Executive Group
At the 7th Annual Meeting of the European Members of the International Science Council (ISC), Prof. İlkay Erdoğan Orhan, a Full Member of the Academy, was elected to the ISC European Members Executive Group.
During the Annual Meeting, which took place on November 21-22 at the Royal Swedish Academy in Stockholm, Sweden, the nominees were introduced, followed by a discussion session where questions were asked to the nominees. Prof. İlkay Erdoğan Orhan, Lokman Hekim University Faculty Member and TÜBA Full Member, was among the scientists elected as a result of the voting for the scientists who will serve in the three-year period between 2025 and 2028.
In the ISC Annual Meeting program, 3 different sessions were also held with presentations by scientists on the Challenges of Artificial Intelligence, Building Capacity for Evidence-Based Policy Making in Governance and Public Administration in Post-Pandemic Europe, and The Challenge of Reclaiming Europe.
