The "Global Transformation and Türkiye" conference, organized by the TÜBA-International Relations Working Group in April 2024, brought together over 60 scientists from 20 countries. The presentations from the conference have been compiled into a book edited by Prof. Ahmet Nuri Yurdusev and Asst. Prof. Mürsel Doğrul, and it has been shared with the public.
The work titled "Global Transformation and Türkiye" includes contributions from academics and experts from countries in America, Asia, Europe, and Africa, addressing various global challenges such as international relations, economic transformations, migration, and technological advancements. The study is divided into thematic sections that examine significant global issues, including the importance of middle powers, the international order, and Türkiye’s strategic responses to these global changes. It consists of six main sections and 36 subsections, which are: “World Dis/orders in the Age of Global Transformations”, “Great Powers and Middle Powers in a Changing World”, “Türkiye on the Cusp of Persistent Challenges and Global Transformations”, “Challenges of Migration and New Channels of Diplomacy”, “New Media, the Challenge of AI/Cyberspace and Non-state Actors”, and “Challenges in Economy, Business, and Finance.”
