Yozgat During the National Struggle

In the face of the occupations that occurred after the signing of the Armistice of Mudros, the people of Anatolia acted in national unity and solidarity under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Pasha. In the process that started with the Amasya Circular, the foundation of the consciousness of national unity was laid with Erzurum, Sivas and local congresses held all over Anatolia. This study will talk about the place and importance of Yozgat in the National Struggle, which stands out both with its aid to the fronts and its support for the congress decisions, despite being a city that was not occupied in Anatolia. In the study, the support of the people of Yozgat to the National Struggle, the national organizations established in Yozgat and their activities will be mentioned. The study has been put forward by utilizing archival documents, memoirs, research-study works and information in periodicals.
