Kırıkkale During the National Struggle
Kırıkkale During the National Struggle
The Turkish Nation started the National Struggle movement against the invasion attempts of the Entente Powers all over Anatolia. This struggle was fought against the Armenians supported by the British on the Eastern Front, against the Greeks on the Western Front, and against the French forces on the Southern Front. During the National Struggle, the people of Kırıkkale showed their reactions to the occupations, both with protest telegrams and with the rallies they organized, especially in Keskin district. The people of the region gave soldiers to the National Struggle, and many people from Kırıkkaleli were martyred for their country on the fronts where the National Struggle took place.
